Life OS skills: from talking it through to getting it done

  • Skills ship: 24 of them across the eight Life Flower dimensions — subscription audit, medication and bill reminders, birthdays and anniversaries, shopping / reading / watch lists, a favour ledger, weight trends, guided journalling. There is no menu to browse: Companion loads the right skill on its own when what you said calls for it.
  • Using them quietly builds your data: a new Life Records layer files 12 kinds of structured records — subscriptions, medications, birthdays, lists — under the matching Life Flower dimension and rolls them up into a card wall on web and mobile, with renewal countdowns and due reminders, every card one tap from the next step.
  • Four flagship deliverables: a weekly status report, a résumé tailored to one job, a health-report readout, and a self-understanding report — all written from your own records and win log, and honest about thin material instead of inventing it. When a request needs real computation, it now runs code in an isolated sandbox rather than doing mental math.
  • Proactive, but restrained: when a life dimension has gone quiet for a long stretch, Gedo knocks once with a skill for it — judged on silence, never on a low score, one dimension at a time, and dropped for good once you have ignored it twice. The morning brief now carries what is coming due, and if you have been away a while everything slows down on its own.
  • External tools: connect any remote MCP server from Settings → MCP (grouped by service, with a capability level), and Companion can call them straight from chat. Every outbound write now goes through a confirmation card first — nothing is sent, created or deleted until you tap confirm. Heavy execution can also be dispatched to your own OpenClaw / Hermes, with Gedo still doing the thinking.
  • Write your own: Settings → Skills now splits into Built-in and Yours — paste or import a SKILL.md, or bulk-import a .zip. It follows the open Agent Skills format, your skills are visible only to you, and they behave exactly like the built-in ones.
  • Catching up and smoothing out: on mobile, new goals get AI clarification (no more staring at three empty WOOP boxes), Knowledge gains an Overview structure map with an AI digest, Settings picks up scheduled tasks / your own skills / model configuration, and “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen finally works. On web, parallel-life saves can be claimed. Sign-up drops the confirm-password field and adds a show-password toggle, and the time zone now follows your device by default.

Self-management pillars + apps everywhere

  • Memory becomes four self-management pillars: Profile · Memories · Knowledge · Codex — with a life timeline, cognition tree, and one-click autobiography.
  • Archives become Knowledge (PKM): collect → process → distill, with a processing queue and notes so you actually absorb what you save.
  • macOS desktop ships; the landing page unifies iOS / Android / Web / desktop download.

A more open Gedo: memory revamped, sources, and your own model

  • Memory, reworked: a unified Inbox with auto-accept for high-confidence items, a Sources rail, and a Profile rebuilt around an eight-dimension Life Flower AI radar plus AI-summarised Codex cards — now with a Sources hub to import ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini / Kimi chat exports, PDF, Word, web links and pasted text; the AI extracts candidates you confirm one by one, sources traceable and deletable.
  • Capability access: plug external tools into your companion over the open MCP protocol and call them in chat or task automations.
  • Open endpoints: your digital persona now speaks MCP — any MCP-enabled AI client can talk to your public persona. The personal memory endpoint (Pro and up) ships alongside it — generate an access token in Settings and carry your memory into any MCP client: output passes a redaction pipeline, AI-excluded items never leave, tokens are revocable with an audit trail.
  • Twin preview: the privacy centre adds a separate consent and one-click revoke (physical deletion) for twin model training, and the persona page shows corpus progress and writing-sample upload — coming soon for Ultra.
  • Kernel upgrade: style-consistency guardrails — swap the underlying model without changing the personality. Security & Privacy statement updated to v1.1.
  • Client roadmap announced: iOS / Android coming soon, iPad and desktop rolling out after.

Memory rework + iOS beta

  • Memory redesigned: new Codex entity cards auto-detect the people, pets, things and places you mention, and a Life Flower hub shows fullness across eight life dimensions (health, career, family and more) at a glance.
  • The life-snapshot questionnaire is now three progressively deeper rings plus a daily question — lighter to fill in, and it keeps building over time.
  • The Gedo iOS app opens invite-only beta — waitlisted users can request TestFlight access.
